Xurrent Adds Chief Compliance Officer to Team

Carlyn Manly

Add PersonAs enterprise organizations step up their compliance efforts, they require more, and more frequent, communication with the software vendors they rely on.  Above all, enterprise SaaS vendors like Xurrent are required to demonstrate on a regular basis that every reasonable effort has been made to sustain the security and privacy of their customer’s data.

To ensure all Xurrent customers can quickly receive the information they need to satisfy their own compliance requirements, they now have access to a dedicated resource.  That’s because Thomas Fruhstuck has joined Xurrent as Chief Compliance Officer (CCO).  He is the primary contact for our customer’s compliance officers and information security officers.  In this role, Thomas will also work with third parties like Deloitte and PwC to facilitate the regular security tests and SOC 2 audits of the Xurrent service and organization.

Thomas Fruhstuck is uniquely qualified for this position.  In his 20+ year career he has worked as IT Manager and Information Security Officer for Siemens in the U.S. and later headed the ISO 20000 and 27001 certified Managed Services division at Austrian service provider APA-IT and then IT at global electronic systems manufacturer TTTech.  Through his work, Thomas became acquainted with several service management solutions and coordinated two Xurrent implementations.

Compliance and service management are my primary professional interests.  I wanted to be part of an innovative and very professional team that is diligently working to have a meaningful impact.
At Xurrent I will be able to use my experience to help make seamless collaboration with service providers a mainstream enterprise service management capability.

Thomas Fruhstuck – Chief Compliance Officer

His experience makes it possible for Thomas to not only ensure that the Xurrent organization remains compliant, it also allows him to advise enterprise customers on how they can use Xurrent to organize their compliance efforts.
