Xurrent Welcomes Cameron Aaron

Xurrent is delighted to welcome Cameron Aaron to the team as a DevOps Engineer. Based in Los Angeles, Cameron will help manage Xurrent’s massive global cloud infrastructure.

Cameron brings over five years of experience in the tech industry and has skills in a variety of areas, including project management, software development, and team leadership, with a track record of success in delivering complex projects on time and within budget.

From a very young age, Cameron was interested in technology and AI. He graduated from Bridges Academy with a young expert designation after doing Neuroscience and Artificial intelligence research. Subsequently, he graduated from Connecticut College in New London, CT, earning a double major in Computer Science and Psychology with a minor in Cognitive Science. In addition, he received a Certificate of Arts and Technology from the Ammerman Center of Arts and Technology.

During his years at college, he conducted both Artificial Intelligence and Cognitive Neuroscience research working on biological mechanisms of attention utilizing EEG, 3D reach tracking, and eye-tracking techniques. In addition, he worked as a Software Engineer at GitHub, a subsidiary of Microsoft, and at SpaceX, working in Aerospace Medicine. He is also a Google Product Expert and a moderator for the official Google Android Beta subreddit.

At the beginning of the pandemic, Cameron also worked as a Backend Team Lead Engineer for C19 Bayshield where he was a member of the team that created an app that supplied PPE to much of central California. Together with the team, he developed an algorithm to determine where the need was. Most recently, he worked at Dutchie as a Systems Administrator and System Support Analyst.
