Faster Organizations

The section ‘Child Organizations’ of the Organization form has been rebuilt. This was done to dramatically improve the response time when opening a large enterprise that is made up of hundreds of divisions, affiliates, departments, etc.

Why was this needed? There are already a few 4me customers that have more than 10,000 organizations in their organizational hierarchy. Opening the top-level organization could result in a timeout when the user’s browser is waiting for the entire hierarchy to load.

Now only the first layer below the organization is loaded, up to 25 child organizations. If there are more than 25 children, the more... option can be used to retrieve the rest. The same logic is applied when one of the child organizations is expanded. At that point, its first 25 children are retrieved from the server.
