Since the AWS Region launch in Switzerland, Xurrent has been able to offer its service to its customers in Switzerland who need to stay in compliance with regional requirements. Xurrent’s service has been built from the ground up to be a true SaaS environment in the cloud with security and privacy in mind at every step of the development. AWS’ reliable, elastic, and secure cloud infrastructure provides Xurrent with the ability to store and process customer data in a way that best fits its customers’ needs.

Cor Winkler Prins“Now that the Swiss region is also available for Xurrent customers, they can select this region and be certain that none of their data will ever leave the country. That’s because, just like in other regions where Xurrent is already available, such as the EU, the UK, the US, and Australia, customer data gets processed load-balanced in multiple availability zones that are physically located within the selected region. All backups, log files, and search indices are replicated across a set of data centers that operate independently from each other. This ensures that in the extreme event where, say 2 data centers within a region are struck by a disaster at the same time, there is continuity of service without having to resort to traversing customer data to a recovery site outside the region.”

“Having not one but two continuity sites also offers a higher level of continuity protection than any of Xurrent’s competitors, making Xurrent the obvious choice for Swiss institutions that care not only about security and privacy but also about reliability.”
