The filter ‘Serial number’ has become available in the configuration item (CI) views and reports. Even though it may not be terribly useful to filter the assets in the configuration management database (CMDB) by a specific serial number, having this new filter available makes it possible to quickly get an overview of the CI records in which the Serial number field still requires a value.
This is done by applying the filter: Serial number is None
