IFDC and 4me announce global partnership to support VeriSM™
The International Foundation for Digital Competences (IFDC) and 4me, Inc., provider of the 4me Enterprise Service Management service, today signed an agreement to further support and promote VeriSM™.
VeriSM™ is a service management approach for the digital age that helps service providers create a flexible operating model to meet desired business outcomes. VeriSM™ supports organizations to succeed in the world of digital services, using all organizational capabilities, from IT to Marketing and Finance to Customer Service, in order to deliver value.
Martijn Adams, General Manager EMEA at 4me was actively involved in the ‘VeriSM™ : Unwrapped and Applied’ publication that was released in October 2018. This publication was created by a team of 70 Service Management experts lead by lead authors Claire Agutter, Johann Botha and Suzanne van Hove. One of the key components and best known parts of the VeriSM™ approach is the management mesh that allows organizations to match their current skills with the skills required for their digital transformation and to understand their current skill gap.
VeriSM™ is an approach that goes much broader than the implementation of tools. 4me, however, recognized that a strong Enterprise Service Management tool that supports the VeriSM™ approach would help organizations tremendously with their digital transformation initiatives. 4me therefore matched the VeriSM™ model with the 4me Enterprise Service Management application and prepared example workflows and recurring events that support the VeriSM™ approach. This gives 4me customers a head start with VeriSM™ and provides organizations not yet using 4me a fast route to efficiently implement and support the VeriSM™ approach.
Sigrid Jansen, IFDC: “We are very happy to welcome 4me as an IFDC partner, as 4me has been involved in VeriSM™ since the early beginnings and their focus on service integration is a very good fit with VeriSM™. The 4me solution recognizes that collaboration is key and that there is no ‘IT and the business’ anymore – since IT is always at the very heart of the business in the digital age. This holistic approach is similar to the VeriSM™ view of the world, where organizational capabilities work together to achieve desired business outcomes in line with consumer needs.”
