Does Xurrent use cookies?

Yes. The Xurrent Websites and Xurrent Service Platform use cookies to ensure our customers receive the best possible experience.

Definition of Terms

‘Xurrent websites’ refers to www.xurrent.com and its subpages via that domain for the purposes of providing information about Xurrent. This includes its former name ‘4me’ and its domains.


‘Xurrent Service Platform’ refers to the user interfaces that are used to access the Xurrent platform which consists of self-service portal pages as well as the main application user interface.

Different types of cookie

Cookies used by Xurrent

The Xurrent Websites (eg. www.xurrent.com) are primarily used to provide information about Xurrent and the Xurrent Service Platform. The cookies set by the Xurrent Websites are used to improve the user experience for visitors and to learn about visitors for marketing purposes. The cookies of the Xurrent Websites enable:

  • Storing a visitor’s settings
  • Remembering information entered by a visitor in forms
  • Fulfilling requests submitted by a visitor
  • Website performance measurement
  • Site administration

Cookies are also set by the Xurrent Service Platform when you interact with our offering. These cookies are primarily used to improve the user experience and performance of the Xurrent Service Platform. In addition, they enable specific security features. These cookies are essential and are required to operate the Xurrent Service Platform. There is no option to opt out of these cookies.

Third-party cookies

Only the Xurrent Websites use third-party application cookies to analyze use of the Xurrent Websites and advertisement conversion.

  • Google Analytics – Google uses cookies to collect and process data about how users use websites, and to track data such as this on an anonymous basis.
  • Google Adwords – Google uses cookies linked to advertisements on Google to track access to our website, other websites and other data.
  • LinkedIn Ad Analytics – LinkedIn uses cookies linked to advertisements on LinkedIn to track access to our websites.

Customer controlled cookies

A Customer has the ability to customize an account it has with the Xurrent Service Platform. This may result in the customer, or any of its third-party providers, setting and using cookies. This is not under the control of Xurrent, and Xurrent is not responsible for the contents or functionality of any such cookies.


All cookies set by Xurrent have cookie names that are prefixed with the string “_4me_” and all are essential cookies (or ‘Strictly Necessary’ in the terminology of the GDPR). Customers are not allowed to use this prefix for naming their cookies.

You may wish to disable or remove cookies. To do this you can use the information provided via the links below. Please note that this may affect the way you use and interact with the Xurrent Websites and Xurrent Service Platform.
